The Role We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to join our Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO) at Kingston University. These key roles will drive process improvements and business analysis across the University to support the successful delivery of our Town House Strategy and its strategic and operational goals. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a university-wide business analysis framework, enabling efficient, effective, and sustainable change across the institution. Your expertise in process improvement and business analysis will help deliver business change programmes, including our strategy, and improvements to established ways of working. In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and mutual respect. The Person To succeed in this role, you should have: A degree, HND, NVQ4 or equivalent relevant experience in a related field. A qualification in Process Improvement, Lean, or Business Analysis (e.g., Six Sigma, BCS Business Analysis). Proven expertise in project or change management (e.g., PRINCE2). Relevant experience of developing process improvement strategy in a large organisation. Experience of implementing process improvement best practice tools and techniques in a large organisation. Experience of managing change projects that require cross-departmental collaboration. Experience of facilitating process improvement initiatives and consulting on business process improvement. Proven experience of maintaining process performance data, tracking benefits realisation and monitoring Key Performance Indicators. Directorate/Function Working within a newly created Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO), the office also sits within a newly established Strategy, Performance and Communications Directorate. As well as the SPO, this Directorate includes staff working in Planning and Performance, and Brand, Communications and Public Affairs.
