Responsibilities
With around 30% of business volume, service activities play an important role within Vanderlande. Our service organization consists of more than 1,600 employees who work together every day to make sure that all of our customers worldwide can improve their business.
The Service Excellence department in Business Unit APS (Airports & Parcel Solutions) focuses on the service development of the Airports & Parcel segments throughout the region Europe, Middle East and Latin America and has a supporting function to other customer centers globally. Our department covers multiple disciplines such as Asset & Logistics management, IT and Digital services, and Sales Engineering.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Development:
o Define and Manage ‘Strategic Programs’ in the field of IT Services (e.g. business development programs, leading development of new IT Service solutions and organizational development).
o Drive the continuous improvement of tooling and capabilities to sell and deliver IT Services.
o Prepare Service Operations on new IT Solutions and Services. Support Pilots.
* Customer facing support:
o Identify business opportunities in the field of 'software as a service' and act upon them.
o Be a Subject Matter Expert in internal and customer workshops to identify service requirements.
o Support service take-over and service implementation for Major projects and Key Accounts.
o Support Sr Management and manage high profile escalations with possible reputational damage.
* Positioning:
o Be the ‘go-to-person’ for IT Services related questions, both commercial and operational.
o Be a mature sparring partner of senior management and have a cross-departmental perspective.
o Act as a liaison between internal Service Desks and Service Management building a customer focus and customer-first mindset.
o Provide IT leadership and direction to site-based service teams to improve IT Service delivery.
Your profile
* You are an excellent communicator who can develop long-term business relationships and/or networks - both internally and with customers, combining your “soft” and “hard” skills to achieve results without having the hierarchical responsibility for the teams;
* Commercially aware, understand and able to manage risks, drive to identify and pursue opportunities;
* You have finished at minimum (and preferably relevant) bachelor degree;
* You have good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
* IT project or service management experience within business-critical IT environments
* Knowledge of IT Service Management processes (ITIL, BISL, ASL or other) preferably on Intermediate level, software development and cyber security service knowledge is preferred;

This position offers a competitive salary range of €5,300.00 to €7,100.00 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
