ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Account Manager is to maintain and develop business within a specific group of customers through proactive account management. This role involves developing strong relationships with key decision makers and identifying and closing opportunities for value-added solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Consistently maintain and grow the revenue of the designated key account customer base whilst achieving the agreed targets set.
2. Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers across the whole client base.
3. Negotiate, manage, and implement agreed commercial agreements ensuring additional business is gained or existing business is protected to achieve targets.
4. Create and implement strategic business plans ensuring an in-depth understanding of our customers' needs, opportunities, challenges, and risks.
5. Proactively maximize all revenue opportunities from existing customers by ensuring they are aware of the full range of services.
6. Ensure all designated customers receive proactive contact within the agreed call cycle.
7. Respond quickly and efficiently to any competitor threat by building strong and meaningful relationships.
8. Identify and recommend to management any service enhancement initiatives to meet our client's needs and ensure all business opportunities are maximized.
9. Become knowledgeable about our customers and their industry.
10. Provide a high level of customer care.
11. Support lead sourcing and prospecting for new customers, self-sourcing, and management of internal data sources.
12. Manage data for all clients in CRM, ensuring all information is logged, accurate, and completed daily.
