Summary: The Governors of Rosegrove Nursery School are looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our Nursery team. The Nursery is a calm and purposeful environment where children are nurtured and motivated to learn. All staff are committed to ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their very best.
The successful candidate will initially support our youngest children, so experience developing the learning and meeting the individual needs of children aged 2 to 3 is required. Knowledge of the EYFS is essential. Training will be given to support the successful candidate to understand the Schools’ Curriculum and Assessment system.
Our Nursery School is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance. Please note the salary quoted is full-time equivalent and if successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
1. EYFS qualification as listed on the DFE website
2. Level 2 qualification or equivalent in English and Mathematics
Desirable Qualifications
1. Paediatric First Aid
2. Child protection and Safeguarding training in the last 12 months
Essential Experience
1. Experience of working in an Early Years School/Nursery environment working with children aged 0-5
2. Knowledge of the EYFS
Desirable Experience
1. Experience of supporting children with SEND
