About the Role
The Role
This role is predominantly new business requiring direct sales and upselling to existing customers, with elements of account management following contracts that you sign. After the initial bespoke training program, you will be required to hit quarterly targets based on the annualized revenue from contracts signed.
Responsibilities
1. Direct sales business to business, always presenting the business in a professional capacity, selling unique features and benefits of our services.
2. Upsell waste and recycling solutions to existing customers.
3. Completion of client site risk assessments and site audits.
4. Handle all inbound inquiries assigned to you.
5. Pre-qualify opportunities to ensure they meet ‘business fit’ and pass credit check.
6. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
7. Collation of accurate prospect information, ensuring CRM is updated daily with the sales support team.
8. Participation in regional networking events, showcasing our services to potential prospects.
9. Completion of weekly KPI sheet.
10. Attendance and participation in fortnightly/monthly sales meetings.
11. Booking appointments with target organizations' key management personnel to present the company's proposition, highlighting features, advantages, and benefits.
12. Cross-sell additional services including shredding, hazardous, nationals.
13. Diary management and priority planning.
14. Respond to helpdesk queries within 24 hours.
15. Assist Administration and Service Team with implementation of new services.
16. Any other duties as reasonably requested by your Line Manager.

About You
1. Previous successful experience in selling service contracts.
2. Experience in telemarketing/appointment booking.
3. Confident in canvassing businesses.
4. Full UK driving license.
5. Previous experience selling within the waste industry is an advantage.
6. Successful in Business to Business (B2B) selling.
7. Confident using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
