The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 3 Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in delivering a tailored curriculum that meets the unique needs of our students. Your innovative teaching methods and empathetic approach will help create a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere. The core subjects of English, Maths and Science are taught daily and the students are also taught history, geography and RE, art, food technology and music weekly. PSHE is also taught once a week and the children also have access to off-site education provisions which inlcudes a weekly gym session and a trampolining/gymnastics session. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum while adapting to the individual needs of students. Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and encouraging them to achieve their personal and academic goals. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to create bespoke learning plans and interventions. Monitor and track student progress and development, providing regular feedback to learners and their families. Encourage positive behavior and help students develop essential life skills. Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to whole-school initiatives. Who We're Looking For: A qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). Experience working with Key Stage 3 students, particularly those in alternative provision or with additional needs, is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate students. A creative and flexible teaching style, allowing you to engage students with diverse learning preferences. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students. A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
