The Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering is seeking to appoint an electronic technician who will provide technical and operational support through the electronic and electrical workshop. The Department has an international reputation for teaching and research, and is one of the premier departments in the UK. Our strong partnerships with Government, Industry and a variety of global research agencies ensure the industrial applicability of our courses and our research outputs, and enable us to provide our students with state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities.
Applications are invited for an Electronic Technician to join a team within the Department, providing specialist electronic technical support for the Department’s diverse research portfolio, and undergraduate/post graduate projects and teaching laboratories.
To be considered for the role you will be educated to a minimum of HNC level in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline, or you will have completed a recognised apprenticeship in addition to having relevant experience in an engineering workshop environment.
