Working Electrical Supervisor – To FM Projects Team
Role
To assist and support the Project Managers to deliver electrical and other projects in the confines of an operational environment; typically an office but occasionally healthcare, school or factory environments.
Based on a normal 40 hour week this role will require the individual to be flexible and prepared to work a shift patterns; maintaining the continuity of our Client’s operations. It’s anticipated this role may be more often a back shift than a day shift avoiding busy times in the buildings, although other shift patterns will be asked to suit the task. Whilst this is predominantly hands-on, the role would benefit from an advanced electrician who can problem solve, understand other building services, instruct other individuals and interact with the client.
Typically, this position will be based in a client site, South Gyle, Edinburgh but there will be requirement to work elsewhere and may occasional require working away from home across Central Scotland, the Borders and Cumbria.
On small works that require minor elements of other ‘trades’ the individual would be expected to undertake simple fixes, isolations and decorations etc.
