What you'll do
For this exciting 12 month contract you'll join our busy HR team supporting our growing and evolving business as we pioneer power for future generations.
The role
This diverse HR Coordinator role will give the right person the opportunity to work across a broad range of HR processes, supporting the full employee lifecycle:
1. Providing HR admin processes across key HR functions
2. Delivering a seamless onboarding experience
3. Providing input into optimising and systemising HR processes as part of implementing a new HRIS and structuring the HR service
4. Active part of the HR business partnering team, working closely with the business to deliver a great employee experience.
Who we are
Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. Driven by our pursuit to create a cleaner, greener, more sustainable planet, we will design, develop, and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset. Our first customers are Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors.
The team you'll join
As HR Coordinator you'll join a small, tight-knit team of HR Business Partners, working closely to build and deliver our employee experience in line with the Agratas Way. As a new business, there is opportunity to impact how we deliver HR - building, challenging and improving how we work, so we are more effective. You'll also enjoy the fun that comes from working within an exciting new business and as part of the wider HR team including Reward, L&D, and Talent Acquisition teams.
What you'll bring
1. Experience in a HR related environment using HR/Payroll systems with a solid understanding of how HR processes interlink and impact each other
2. Strong administration and organizational skills with attention to detail
3. Understanding of the regulatory environment e.g. GDPR, quality audit, key employment law
4. Self-starter with the confidence to constructively challenge and suggest new ideas and ways of working
5. Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook)
6. Effective team working, valuing diversity of colleagues
