Role Type Fixed Term (Fixed Term) What you'll be doing: Are you a digital merchandising expert with a passion for driving sales and delivering outstanding online shopping experiences? At Avon, we are looking for a Senior Digital Trading Merchandiser to lead and optimise our digital sales strategy across multiple owned platforms. You’ll play a critical role in driving sales performance, elevating the customer journey, and ensuring our digital channels deliver best-in-class experiences to our customers. Key responsibilities: Develop & Execute Digital Trading Strategy: Lead the creation of a comprehensive digital trading plan to drive sales, improve conversion rates, and maximise average order value (AOV) across all online channels. Lead Digital Performance Meetings: Spearhead weekly trading performance meetings, offering valuable insights and data-driven recommendations on product performance, category trends, and site enhancements. Drive Digital Campaigns & Promotions: Take ownership of planning and executing digital promotions and merchandising campaigns that align with our commercial goals and deliver measurable, impactful results. Actionable Insights & Reporting: Translate trading reports into actionable insights, presenting findings to senior leadership and recommending areas for optimisation and growth. Content Merchandising Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end process of digital content merchandising, ensuring product detail pages (PDPs), category landing pages, and homepage assets are fully optimised to enhance user experience and drive conversions. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure all digital content reflects the brand’s guidelines, seasonal campaigns, and key promotional goals. Partner with CRO Team: Collaborate with the Global Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) team on UX improvements and A/B testing to continually refine and optimise the user experience. Lead & Manage Specialists: Daily management of the Trading and Merchandising team, ensuring alignment and performance against digital sales goals. Desired Skills & Experience: Proven experience in digital trading and merchandising, ideally in a retail or e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of digital performance metrics (conversion rates, AOV, CTR, etc.) and a data-driven approach to decision making. Experience with content management systems, A/B testing, and working closely with UX teams. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management experience.
