We welcome applications for a full-time Specialist Investigator opportunity with Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) Investigations.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will co-ordinate and support major/sensitive investigations, gathering evidence and intelligence in support of investigative strategy.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain effective working relationships with collaborative forces and other partner agencies across the South East region. To be successful in this role, you must have some experience as an effective Investigator and have excellent communication/interpersonal skills. This role also requires applicants to have PIP2 accreditation.
You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand, which may require working away from home and occasional travel across the South East region and the UK. A full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role. You will also be required to perform on-call arrangements for urgent response as needed across the South East region.
Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance, and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. To achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
