An exciting opportunity has arisen in the UK and Ireland Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Team for an experienced HSEQ Advisor. This role will report into the HSEQ Lead, working closely with employees at all levels across the organisation to support the needs of the business with a primary focus on health and safety. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to progress their career utilising their current skills, knowledge and experiences to support ERM’s continuous improvement. Primary accountabilities Working closely with the HSEQ Director, HSEQ Lead and HSEQ Co-Ordinator Managing and maintaining the ERM Safety Management System to facilitate the proactive and effective management of H&S within the business Supporting the maintenance of our ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications Leading on the implementation of ISO45001 Preparing and updating HSEQ policies and procedures Keeping abreast of new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge, specifically relating to any developments that may have an impact on our work activities Producing presentations for management meetings and attending these Following up on significant incidents and carrying out investigations where required Reviewing and developing risk assessments Delivering in-house training Person specification NEBOSH Diploma qualified Preferred, not essential - if not yet achieved, willing to work towards Has previous experience in H&S, Quality and Environment Management Systems Excellent written and spoken communication skills, in order to explain requirements to employees across all levels and to deliver presentations and training to large groups Has a strong ability to learn on the job, remain flexible, proactive along with the ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal relationships at all levels is required Has a strong command of the English language (both spoken and written), and excellent IT skills across all of the suite of Microsoft Programs To Apply We aim to build an inclusive culture by identifying, acquiring, developing and retaining a highly skilled and high performing workforce that reflects the diverse global marketplace in which we operate, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious preference, sexual orientation, physical attributes, or educational background.
