You will join a forward thinking department of 5.8 WTE Orthoptists and 3 Optometrists. The Ophthalmology department has 15 Ophthalmologists, four of which specialise in paediatric ophthalmology and ocular motility. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be keen to develop their knowledge and skills, be a flexible and reliable member of the team and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This is a preceptorship post and upon completion of the Trust AHP and BIOS preceptorship programmes there will be opportunity to progress to Band 6 within this role. You will be supported by a mentor throughout your preceptorship journey. Candidates must have a degree/diploma in Orthoptics and current registration with HCPC is essential.
