IT Service Desk Manager
£39,000 up to £42,000 per annum (37 hours)
Preston, Lancashire - hybrid role
What will you be doing in this role?
Reporting to the Head of Digital, Data and Technology, you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the IT Service Desk function.
You will review, develop and implement action plans for performance and service delivery. You will ensure IT service desk tickets are resolved within SLAs and provide first, second and where applicable third line support to business customers. You will take ownership of the incident management process, communicating effectively with IT Services colleagues and ensuring adherence to agreed procedures.
You will have excellent people management skills with the ability to lead, support, motivate and manage a team.
The main things:
* You will have experience of managing a small team, delivering exceptional customer service
* You have experience of managing a service desk function
* You will have experience of business wide IT support (1st and 2nd line minimum) using ITIL Service Desk
* You will excellent knowledge of using/supporting the Microsoft Office suite and Windows Client Operating Systems.
It would be great if you also had:
* Experience of supporting migration to Office365
CGA have a number of sites across the city of Preston, Lancashire therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work (with appropriate business insurance) are essential to the role. It is expected that applicants will live in easy commute of the city, so as to provide technical support as required (sometimes at short notice).
