About the Role:
As part of this new team, you will be supporting Matt, who has moved into his own home in Brixham, after spending several years in hospital in Cardiff. Matt is looking for a team that can support him in his new home.
Here are some words from Matt’s family:
“We would like Matt’s support team to learn as much about Matt from what we have shared that includes observations from existing carers of Matt interacting with those around him; knowledge of Matt’s, behaviours (anxious and quiet moments) and interests which are vital to understand for all staying in his home. Matt has trouble understanding the do's and don'ts of life, but he does have a high level of intelligence that includes reading, writing, excellent recall, operating a laptop, iPad, games, and he also enjoys pen and paper hangman. Patience and flexibility with Matt are important and there are numerous interests he finds enjoyment in that includes: music, dance, stories, film scenes - called up from the internet - films and comedy series.
