We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead our clients Service Division, who form part of one of the most successful HGV dealer groups in the UK.
The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing operational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a strategic mindset to drive the company's operations forward.
You will possess the experience and knowledge of working in the HGV / Commercial vehicle or Automotive market, to join a growing group, which currently turns over £50 million in sales a year.
As a Head of Service Operations, you will have four direct reports (service managers). Your position will add clarity and direction to the service function to ensure service and repair turnaround times are improved and more efficient, to allow for an increase in workflow, whilst still maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction against competitors.

The Job: Head of Service / Service Operations Manager - HGV / Commercial Vehicles
* Operationally responsible for the entire Service function across the business and taking it to full working efficiency.
* Setting, communicating, and driving the department vision.
* Leading from the front, hands on and nurturing a positive and open culture across your team.
* Extensive Workshop control / loading & management experience.
* Adhere to all dealership and company standards, including quality and environmental policies.
* Facilitate staff training to maintain high standards of customer service.
* Develop and sustain positive relationships with customers, ensuring timely service delivery.
* Achieve and maintain dealership standards and KPIs, strengthening partnerships.
* Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Build a strong, positive team culture in line with company values.
* Collaborate with departments across the region to foster a cohesive team environment.
What we are looking for: Commercial Vehicle - Head of Service Operations
* A vast knowledge and experience of the commercial vehicle or automotive sector.
* We're looking to speak with positive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individuals with prior experience of working within the commercial truck market, specifically either Mercedes, Scania, DAF or Volvo.
* High standards of professionalism, courtesy, and respect towards customers.
* Solution-oriented.
