Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Northwich, working with a class of nine students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
About the Role:
This role involves teaching KS3/4 students with additional needs, focusing on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You’ll work closely with a team of skilled teaching assistants and other professionals to deliver tailored lessons that support the educational and personal development of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative, individualized lessons to meet the needs of students with ASD.
* Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team to ensure the holistic development of each student.
* Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
* Implement and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other personalized learning strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with students with ASD or within a SEND setting.
* Strong understanding of SEND best practices and approaches to managing behaviors.
* A compassionate and patient individual who is committed to making a positive difference.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: £127.05-£137.16 per day
