Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit three additional support staff members, ideally experienced Youth/Support Workers for employment in specialist schools based in the Blackburn area. These specialist provisions cater for children with SEMH and Autism who can often display challenging behaviours. These posts are to start on a full-time basis (varied hours), and you will be required to work during term-time, with the view of becoming a permanent member of staff.
As these can be challenging environments, you will ideally have experience in this sector and have worked with challenging individuals. The schools are open to various experiences and try to recruit based on the unique skills a candidate can bring to the role, giving their pupils exposure to new experiences.
