The International Office is responsible for the marketing, recruitment, and admission of international students at Wrexham University. The purpose of the post is to support the admissions processes for international students and implement the University’s processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the Home Office’s immigration requirements regarding international students. The post-holder will report to the International Admissions Manager and, as appropriate, act with delegated authority on their behalf, carrying important responsibility in maintaining the University’s immigration compliance position.
The post-holder will support the efficient and robust management of international applicants and contribute to the development of appropriate University policies and procedures, as well as in staff development and briefings.
The post-holder will be a point of contact and advice for staff and student queries about Home Office issues and will work closely with staff from a range of administrative and academic departments. Additionally, the post-holder will manage compliance of current sponsored students.
