About the role
Working 4 hours per day, between 9-5, Monday to Friday, you will be the main point of contact for facility management at the BU Channel offices. Your role will be ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating contractor visits, and overseeing office operations. We’re seeking an Administration Officer to support our team and ensure the smooth running of our office operations. This is a Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months.
You will be responsible for
Providing administrative support to the management team, including document preparation and scheduling.
Managing meeting rooms, catering, office supplies, mail distribution, and off-site storage, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Assist with stock rotation and management of off-site storage facilities.
Occasionally assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, town hall meetings, seminars, and social events.
About you
Working in a diverse department, often independently from their line manager, the ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to use their initiative. This role is highly varied, involving both confidential projects and hands-on tasks, requiring flexibility and a willingness to take on any challenge. Good time management and organisation skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Full driving licence is preferred.
