Driver Hire (Torbay) is looking for dependable Class 2 HGV drivers to support our clients across the TQ area on an ad-hoc basis. In this role, you could deliver palletised or caged goods, so physical fitness is essential, as lifting and manual handling are involved.
Key Details:
* Pay Rate: £15.68-£21.13 per hour (PAYE ADV) with other PAYE options available
* Start Time: Shifts start from 05:00, Monday to Saturday
* Shift Minimum: 8 hours guaranteed per shift
* Payment: Weekly for reliable, regular income
Your Responsibilities:
* Deliver goods safely to multiple locations
* Maintain high customer service standards at each stop
* Follow all company procedures for compliance and safety
Requirements:
* Licences Needed: HGV Class 2 (Category C), Digital Tachograph Card, CPC (Driver Qualification Card)
* Essential Gear: Safety footwear
* Physical Fitness: Must handle manual tasks efficiently
