Are you a Bookkeeper looking for a new challenge in the Gillingham area?
Our client is a well-established organisation who are currently experiencing significant growth which has resulted in them seeking a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join their successful team on a full time and permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who thrives in a professional environment and is looking to grow their bookkeeper career in accountancy.
Key responsibilities:
1. Processing invoices, receipts, payments, and reconciling accounts
2. Preparing and maintaining financial records
3. Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
4. Credit control duties
5. Liaising with clients to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Requirements:
6. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within an accountancy practice
7. Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
8. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
