Nicholas James Care Homes and Regal Care Trading Limited, leading providers of nursing, dementia, and residential care, have immediate opening to join our Maintenance Team at Sevenoaks.

As a member of the maintenance team, you will play a vital role in supporting our care home and facilities, in a safe and compliant manner throughout the properties. Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring that Health and Safety legislation, and a safe and secure working environment.
* Locating and rectifying mechanical faults: Understanding the root cause and risk involved.
* Always working within the required Risk Assessments and Method Statements: Responsible for reviewing all tasks for risk before starting, ensuring that risks are eliminated before work begins.
* Completing administrative tasks: Ensuring all paperwork required for property files and ensuring all records of site operation are accurate, structured, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
* Communicate and collaborate: Effectively communicate with residents, families, and the care team, while collaborating to create a positive environment.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
* Experience in works delivery or relevant post experience.
* To be technically competent and qualified to safely operate, and make safe to work on or test, the equipment, systems, or installations for which appointment is sought.
* A team player who can provide feedback to improve the overall performance.
* Thrives in a collaborative environment.
* A reliable and flexible individual with strong work ethics.
Qualifications:
* Qualified in either in Plumbing or Gas installation to a minimum of City and Guilds, NVQ 2/3 or SVQ is desirable.
* Previous experiences and backgrounds in maintenance work.
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
* Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
