Job Title: Trainee Pallet Maker and Refurbishment Location : Lowton/Hindley Pay : from £12.25ph Hours & Days of work : 6am to 2pm/8am to 4.30pm/2pm to 10pm Job Description: DCS are seeking a motivated and reliable individual for a role as Trainee Pallet Maker and Refurbishment specialist for our client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in pallet manufacturing and refurbishment. Full training will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary, although the use of power tools and nail guns will be considered an advantage. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the construction and refurbishment of pallets, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. Operate various power tools, such as saws, nail guns, and other equipment used in the manufacturing process (training will be provided if needed). Inspect pallets for damages and perform necessary repairs or refurbishments. Follow detailed instructions for assembling and repairing pallets, ensuring compliance with company processes and safety protocols. Ensure all work is completed on time and meets company production standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all health and safety guidelines. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Skills and Qualifications: No prior experience required - full training will be provided. Previous experience using power tools and nail guns is an advantage but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. Basic understanding of health and safety procedures. Physical fitness and ability to handle manual labour tasks.
