About our client We are working with a highly regarded next-generation growth buyout manager focused on disruptive mid-market businesses across Europe. They are now looking to hire their first dedicated IR/Fundraising professional to work in a 360 degree capacity across project management and distribution, initially on a part-time basis with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position. In this position you will work closely with the partners in managing existing and prospective investor relationships. You will ensure that there is appropriate continuity and over time build an IR function with the appropriate tools to support the long-term growth of the firm. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder who brings knowledge of best practices around IR, a disciplined approach, and excellent project management skills. The role is offered initially on a part-time basis with the potential to convert to full-time approximately 24 months later ahead of the launch of Fund 3. What the job involves Work closely with the partners getting to know the investor base and contribute to the proactive outreach programme to existing and potential investors. Help develop new relationships Play a key role in maintaining relationships with the existing investor base, responding to ad-hoc queries and requests and aiding with the execution of all fundraising efforts, liaising with placement agents where applicable Join and coordinate attendance at selected conferences (e.g. Super Return, IPEM) and non-deal roadshows in key investor hubs in Europe Lead the preparation and maintenance of marketing and fundraising materials including investor presentations, Private Placement Memorandum, Due Diligence materials, case studies, data room and other documents for investors Help improve quarterly investor reports and on-going updates Work alongside the investment team to raise co-investments when appropriate Drive the organisation and content development for key annual events - Annual Investor Meetings and Advisory Board meetings Help to further professionalise the investor experience by bringing in new, creative, and additive processes Who we are looking for Prior Investor Relations or fundraising experience within private markets and strong academic credentials Desire to work collaboratively as part of a small driven team in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment A 'can-do' positive attitude, impeccable work ethic, attention to detail and proactive attitude with a willingness to take on varied tasks Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills Highly numerate, and proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Strong organisational skills (planning, scheduling, coordinating and time management) Familiarity with key private equity performance metrics/ terms You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
