B&M Care is looking for a Care Training & Quality Lead with a keen eye for detail and a passion for learning. They will be required to work closely, within our homes, helping to improve quality care. Rate of Pay To be discussed at interview Contract Type Full Time Contract Hours 37.5 hours Hemel Hempstead - Head Office Leadership & Support The Care Training & Quality Leads are to assist in the provision of training and development in line with the companies training program to meet the needs of the staff team, residents, and the requirements of B&M Care, including the ongoing evaluation and measuring of care and competences, through reflective learning, practical competences, and observations A focus would be on improving and maintaining quality of care for all residents and particularly raising our staffs' awareness and excellence with the company's Rose Model dementia. To ensure that all governance systems are followed ensuing quality of care and compliance. Duties and Responsibilities will include: To support the delivery of training in the homes via the Learning Management System To deliver training to staff either face to face or via zoom. To deliver 'on the floor' coaching to back up the theory training To observe and support staff competency assessments To promote and support the staff mentorship programme. To assist home's trainers and managers to set up sustainable in-house systems to organise their own training, competency, and mentorship. To positively support the Senior management team, the homes Registered Managers and their wider teams Develop effective working relationships with all employees within B&M Care. Be proactive and provide guidance, support and leadership to all staff Work in cooperation with external agencies to maximise opportunities for the residents in our care and B&M head office. To attend quarterly governance meeting with Director of Governance, Operations Manager. To be deployed in homes as required by head of training To promote the Rose Model of dementia care through training, policy and observations audits. To support with staff development, implementation and ongoing supporting and mentoring To understand and implement legislation and regulations relevant to the care industry. To have a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation Communicate with team members, trainers and management to ensure all needs are met. Support the training team to deliver ad hoc group-wide training days as required. Maintain their own knowledge by carrying out CPD to ensure they stay up to date with current theories and best practice. To be prepared to travel around all of the B&M Care Group's Care Homes. To be prepared to work shifts in care homes including out of office hours, weekends and nights from time to time. 5 days over 7-day period, to include weekend, late and early shifts as agreed Essential: Full UK Drivers Licence Effective communication with all levels of staff both within the care home and head office Ability to motivate, encourage, and engage with staff at all levels NVQ level 3 in social care and health ADZN1_UKTJ
