My client, a £30m regional main contractor, is looking for a Site Manager to join their team. Led by an exceptionally experienced MD who takes a calculated approach to risk and growth, the company ensures financial stability while maintaining an incredibly low staff turnover due to the autonomy and positive culture they have created. Specialising in new build construction projects up to £5m, they focus on industrial, commercial, and retail design and build projects, with typical project durations ranging from 12 to 30 weeks. The office is located 1 hour from Leeds but we feel someone based in West Yorkshire would be well-suited for this due to project locations. While the company tries to keep you working locally, some projects will require staying away from home Monday to Friday, with paid lodging and subsistence so please only apply if this works for you. Role: As Site Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Leading new build projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Managing all on-site operations, including subcontractors and suppliers, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinating with the design and commercial teams to manage any project changes and ensure adherence to specifications. Managing project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and budgets, and keeping stakeholders informed. Overseeing multiple industrial, commercial, and retail projects, ranging from £250k to £5m. Package: Salary up to £60,000 car. Lodging and subsistence paid at £70–£90 per night (tax-free) when working away. 25 days holiday 8 Bank Holidays.
