PSM Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Secretary to join an Estate Agency based in Dover, working alongside the Chartered Surveyor and Property Managers. Secretary Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality audio typing support, transcribing correspondence, reports, and other documents accurately and efficiently Create and manipulate templates in Microsoft Word, Excel and MRI Qube to support professional documentation needs Manage and maintain the diary of the Chartered Building Surveyor, scheduling appointments, meetings, and site visits Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and handling telephone and email enquiries Assist the Block Management Department with secretarial and administrative tasks as required Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals in a professional and courteous manner, even when they test your patience. Ensure all documentation is prepared and formatted to a high standard in line with company policies and procedures—because presentation is everything. Always Maintain confidentiality and professionalism Secretary Key Requirements: Proven experience in a similar secretarial or administrative role Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in template creation and document formatting Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when it comes to politely chasing people for responses. Professional and proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience within the property or surveying sector is advantageous but not essential.
