Job Description
Working closely with all other business functions, you will be responsible for leading the transformation in our quality systems and championing quality within our business.
1. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the group quality business management system.
2. Responsible for planning and ensuring execution of all preventative quality measures.
3. Responsible for planning and delivering Quality training throughout the group.
4. Responsible for ensuring that all quality tools are fit for purpose, robust, and efficient.
5. Lead the recruitment and development of the Quality team.
6. Ensure the group is compliant with all necessary quality standards.
7. Ensure support is provided to permanently resolve any reactive quality issues.
8. Responsible for ensuring that cost of quality and cost of poor quality is captured and optimised.
9. Responsible for ensuring effective KPIs are in place across the business to measure quality together with other functions.
10. Provide support to new development projects to ensure that projects are developed so that quality targets are readily achieved.
11. Work together with all functions to actively identify any issues that may place quality at risk and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
The Successful Applicant
1. Significant experience of quality management within an industrial manufacturing sector.
2. Ability to enthuse others within the organisation about the importance and benefits of quality.
3. Able to demonstrate implementation of significant improvements to systems and ways of working.
4. Ability to effectively influence and work collaboratively with others in the organisation.
5. Ability to develop people both within and external to the quality team.
6. Ability to clearly plan and prioritise the team’s activities, ensuring that every activity is completed with a view to the overall plan.
7. Able to demonstrate a strong analytic approach and ability to effectively sort and utilise data.
8. Able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of all aspects of the quality management tools and processes.
9. Experience of implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
What’s on Offer
· £80,000 to £100,000 plus benefits.
