We're looking for a confident and experienced pensions professional to lead complex Risk Transfer projects, grow client relationships, and help shape the future of our growing team.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead from the front: Manage a portfolio of Risk Transfer and de-risking projects while actively building a pipeline of internal and external clients.
* Shape our future: Contribute to team strategy and the ongoing development of our services.
* Deliver with excellence: Sign off on high-quality, technically sound advice, including regulated advice.
* Be a trusted partner: Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, providers, Professional Trustees, and advisers.
* Project leadership: Run internal and external project meetings, coordinate across teams, and manage delivery, quality, timelines, and budgets.
* Mentor and grow: Support the development of junior colleagues through coaching and knowledge-sharing.
* Expand your network: Represent the firm at industry events and client meetings to grow your professional connections.
* Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up to date with regulatory changes and market developments, and share insights across the team.
What we're looking for:
* Significant UK pensions experience, ideally within an actuarial consultancy, insurer, or reinsurer.
* A proven track record of delivering successful bulk annuity transactions or similar risk transfer projects involving multiple insurers.
* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
* Skilled at managing multiple deadlines and priorities with a calm and organised approach.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience drafting RFPs, winning new business, and building client relationships.
* Well-established contacts in the Risk Transfer market and with Professional Trustees.
