Job Title: Treasurer

Job Purpose: To maximise the profit from stock of currencies and to maintain and deliver stated/agreed customer service policy and standards within the team to enable the achievement of TCGI’s operational goals, mission and commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maximise profit from stock of currencies by selecting the best rates from a range of wholesalers.
2. Convert all GP opportunities by continually calling-in customers, selling-up and closing the deal to maximise the full potential of each enquiry/transaction.
3. Maximise stock holding to keep within COP limits.
4. Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
5. Adhere to The Change Group customer service policy.
6. Provide exemplary levels of service in all areas including acknowledging customers when in a customer facing environment.
7. Maintain a professional approach to colleagues and management at all times.
8. Maintain stocks of local currency, foreign notes and all sundry items in all locations in line with business demands and move stock internally to maximize GP before selling off to wholesaler.
9. Monitor currency turnover in all branches and make recommendations on stock holding based on demands.
10. Order stocks of local coins on a weekly basis.
11. Produce branch rate sheet on a daily basis.
12. Monitor rate fluctuation on a daily basis and amend rates when necessary.
13. Reconcile all transfers between branches and wholesalers on a daily basis.
14. Maintain accurate records for all wholesale external transactions and credit cards.
15. Follow all internal procedures when handling company value.
16. Be aware of and adhere to security features and procedures within the branch.
17. Keep the bureau clean & tidy at all times and report all repairs and maintenance issues to line manager.
18. Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports to create historic data.
19. Inform management immediately if there is the slightest suspicion of untoward behaviour within the team.
20. Ensure the VMVA is fully implemented by yourself and any direct reports.
21. Undertake other duties as considered essential for effective operations and services, as this list is not exhaustive.
22. Replenish and service ATMs and process concessionaire banking.
