Are you a skilled Commercial Property Lawyer looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated legal professional to join our dynamic team, based in either our Wells or Street office.
About the Role: As a Commercial Property Lawyer at our client, you will manage a varied caseload of general commercial property transactions and landlord and tenant matters, providing expert legal advice and support to our valued clients. You’ll have the autonomy to handle your own matters while benefiting from a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions.
2. Advise clients on landlord and tenant matters and related commercial property issues.
3. Draft and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and leases.
4. Conduct due diligence to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
5. Provide clear, up-to-date legal advice and maintain high client service standards.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues and assist senior lawyers on complex matters.
7. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication throughout the process.
8. Meet individual time and billing targets, effectively managing your workload.
9. Stay current with developments in commercial property law.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent.
2. 5+ years PQE in commercial property law.
3. Proven ability to manage caseloads independently with minimal supervision.
4. Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with case management systems.
7. High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
8. Commercial awareness and experience in business development are desirable.
9. A proactive, client-focused approach with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
