About the role We are seeking a resourceful Strategic Sourcing Manager to gain responsibility for the supervision of supply management operations across sites globally. The successful candidate will monitor the logistical details and processes to prevent distribution and manufacturing delays, will execute best practices and measure performance through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) resulting in the maximisation of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities will include: Development and implementation of global supply chain strategies for the responsible category in alignment with the key stakeholders and Technical Business Units (TBUs). Selection, development, and management of strategic suppliers. Contract management and negotiation. Initiation and implementation of cost reductions programs. Make-or-Buy decision in alignment with the TBUs. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders. Leading and collaboration in worldwide projects and multiple Business Units (Bus). Preparation and creation of presentations, analysis, and reports. Education and Experience Degree in industrial engineering or other technical/economic studies or commercial training with further education and professional experience. Demonstratable experience in Global Supply Chain and lead responsibility for international projects. Willingness for and flexibility with international business trips. Analytical and solution-oriented operation in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
