About the Role
As the first point of contact, you will be expected to deliver optimum customer service solutions to our existing and potential customers whilst advocating the Company brand and image.
1. Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
2. Retrieving email orders and processing them.
3. Processing internal sales orders.
4. Forwarding enquiries to the Production department.
5. Chasing late deliveries.
6. Informing customers of potential order problems.
7. Transferring calls to different departments and taking messages when required.
8. Organising returns of old core for customers.
9. Processing credits, investigating discrepancies, and resolving queries.
10. Overseeing and managing credits with the sales team.
11. Any other duties appropriate to the post as required.
About Your Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:
The ideal candidate will have order processing experience with a high level of customer service, good attention to detail, and a very friendly and confident telephone manner. You should be used to working at pace in a busy environment and can work as part of a lively team as well as using your own initiative. In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and make correct decisions. You should be competent in using the following packages: Outlook, Word, and Excel, and provide sufficient evidence of building relationships with customers or suppliers.
