Role Overview:
As the Site Services Manager / Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all site facilities. This includes ensuring the availability and functionality of all equipment, infrastructure, and services that support our manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of site facilities, including utilities, building maintenance, and services.
2. Manage and lead the facilities team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure optimal performance.
6. Coordinate site services projects, including renovations, upgrades, and new installations.
7. Monitor and manage site budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site efficiency and reduce operational costs.
9. Provide regular reports on site performance, maintenance activities, and project progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
2. Strong understanding of facilities management, including building maintenance, utilities, and site services.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
4. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to manufacturing sites.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Budget management experience and a strong focus on cost control.
8. Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, or a related field are desirable.
