The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Project Manager, ready to develop and manage your own portfolio of Infrastructure Change Projects for one of the UK’s largest Train Operators, and step into a client-side role?
As the business invests in their in house-consultancy capabilities, this is a new role – a chance for an ambitious Project/Programme Manager to be instrumental in the delivery of Rail Infrastructure projects and lead a diverse portfolio of projects (new fleet introduction upgrades/major plant upgrades, to name a few).
You will play an integral role in the success of projects, and their effect on local communities and thousands of commuters, making yourself indispensable to this £billion TOC.
The Candidate:
Strong experience in relevant, Project/Programme Management orientated roles, within the UK rail sector. (Essential)
Solid communication /stakeholder management skills. (Essential)
Previous experience working client side, e.g., Network Rail, Consultancy, or another TOC. (Essential)
Experience working on projects from GRIP 1 to 8 / PACE 1 to 5. (Essential)
Professional qualifications/accreditations. (Desirable)
Working Pattern:
Hybrid working – 3 days from office/site, 2 days WFH.
Package:
£56,512 - £69,752 per annum.
