At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
We’re recruiting for a Quality Director to continue our drive for high performance, empowering our people to make the right decision on the largest civil engineering works in the UK. This position will work across the entire trace of our HS2 project from Wendover to Greatworth. A central base of either Milton Keynes or Brackley can be accommodated with travel to our site teams. As our sites are remote from towns and villages, we do ask that you hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle to be able to get to the locations.
You will be responsible for transformation of EKFB’s quality performance, develop and implement strategies for delivery of construction quality. Facilitate effective strategy implementation in EKFB and our supply chain through targeted objectives that support cost-effective compliance through a Right First-Time approach.
You will provide strategic direction, guidance and support to the project on all quality requirements to achieve our strategy and objectives.
As a Quality Director, you will represent and promote EKFB at industry and HS2 enterprise level events whilst establishing and maintaining effective formal and informal relationships with HS2 enterprise level stakeholders, the EKFB supply chain and other key stakeholders.
You are required to develop and implement plans for continuous improvement and sharing lessons learned within EKFB, with parent companies and with the wider HS2 community.
About You
* Extensive experience managing delivery teams in a construction environment
* Membership of the CQI (or equivalent profession)
* Experience of quality management and implementing quality transformation
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Contractually, commercially, and technically astute
* CSCS card holder
