TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION ARCHITECT
CONTRACT: IT
LOCATION: Hybrid role – but must live in commutable distance of Canary Wharf (E14 9SH) & Weybridge, Surrey (KT13 0SL)
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

Within the UK Information Technology group, we manage a diverse portfolio of technology products, spanning back-office platforms and operational systems that support our day-to-day services for clients.
As a Technology Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in identifying customer needs and leveraging technology to drive innovation and create new product opportunities.
You will collaborate across business units to shape the strategic technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Job Description
The role of Technology Solution Architect is pivotal in bridging business needs with technology solutions. This involves working closely with all areas of the business, engaging with client accounts, internal functions, and collaborating with our group colleagues.
The Technology Solution Architect will provide strategic guidance, ensuring that technology investments align with business objectives while driving innovation, efficiency, and seamless integration across our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify customer needs and explore technology-driven opportunities for new services and products
* Digitally enhance products and services, adding tangible value through technology
* Analyse client trends and future needs to support the strategic technology roadmap
* Collaborate with infosec teams and Enterprise Architect community on governance
* Promote technology adoption, maintain a knowledge base, and support awareness efforts
* Assist in qualifying, prioritising, and governing IT demand processes
* Bridge technology teams, commercial and operational areas, and key accounts
* Build relationships with senior stakeholders and provide SME input
* Work across the business to define problems and create new technology demand
About You
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role (preferably in a Facilities Management company)
* Strong understanding of technology systems in the Facilities Management industry (e.g., CAFM, Time & Attendance, Mobile Workforce Management)
* Experience with back-office solutions such as Finance, HR, and Payroll is advantageous
* Good working knowledge of a typical Total Facilities Management operating model
* Proven track record in Facility Management and understanding of services offered
* Flexible with working hours and location
* Ability to communicate technology solutions effectively to both technical and operational stakeholders
* Skilled in mapping business processes and applying technology principles
* Collaborative team player, able to work across teams on projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident in presenting to internal and client stakeholders at various levels
