The post-holder's role portfolio will encompass the oversight of a number of programmes of work and be involved in a range of complex and/or time critical service challenges within the Division on behalf of the Divisional Director of Operations. The key focus of this position is to provide senior leadership to implementation of service delivery and performance of identified programmes of work. The post holder will support in developing plans across the division. The role is the nominated deputy for the Divisional Director of Operations within the Planned Care senior leadership team. Applicants - please note that interviews will take place on Wednesday 7thMay 2025 Main duties of the job Reporting to the Divisional Director of Operations, the Deputy Director of Operations will be part of the divisional senior leadership team and will support the Divisional quadrumvirate in delivering the Trust's strategic priorities and operational agenda. The post holder will focus in supporting on the day-to-day operational issues, liaising with departments and teams as required to ensure the continuity in delivering high-quality standards of care across the services. The Deputy Director of Operation's role will encompass the oversight of a number of programmes of work & projects ensuring successful implementation & delivery of those programmes. The post holder will provide direct operational line management for surgical services and lead on professionally developing the service teams and actively encourage to be efficient, effective, engaged and highly motivated. As required, the director of operations will support service continuity through overseeing services. The Deputy Director of Operations will be supporting and working to ensure the delivery of the division's performance and activity plan and achievement of all national access standards;.
