RPS are seeking a Project Civil/Maritime Engineer with proven experience to complement our established Civil/Maritime team, based in our Belfast office.

About the Role:
This is a key technical role and will see you working closely with senior staff providing technical support to the delivery of a range of port and offshore energy projects.
This provides the opportunity to join an established and successful team of professionals delivering diverse projects across the UK and Ireland.
Typically you will be responsible for the delivery of engineering design for Civil and Ports and Harbours projects including structural concrete, pile design, retaining walls and geotechnics and supporting other staff in the administration of individual projects from inception, through design and on to construction.
Reporting to senior staff you will contribute to the overall success of the business with great opportunities to advance your career in a dynamic professional environment within an exciting sector of the construction industry.

Who we’re looking for:
1. MEng or BEng degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering and working towards chartered status
2. Civil and/or Structural Engineering design experience
3. Excellent report writing and communication skills
4. Able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
5. Professional outlook
6. Good problem solving with an acute attention to detail
