We at Chefs Bay arerecruiting an experienced Chef De Partie for a location based inThrussington Leicestershire with an immediate startavaialble.
Our client is an 8bedroomCountry Inn with a highly regarded restaurant & bar servingsuperb traditional pub favourites and seasonal dishes to our40cover restaurant & 30 cover bararea.
This is a privately owned& operated pub without ties to a brewery or franchise. Thiswould be an exciting opportunity to work closely with the owners& the Head Chef to develop an appealing &highquality menu.
TheHours:
40/48 hour week on arolling rota. Specific days & hours to bediscussed.
TheRole:
Assist in developingnew dishes and overhauling menus to attract more clientele to therestaurant.
Ensuring that guestsreceive excellent & speedy service and enjoy their culinaryexperience from start to finish.
Preparing dishes in a timely & costeffective way utilisingefficient preparation methods such as some preprepared or frozenproducts.
Assisting with managing theinventory and ordering food stock as needed whilst alwaysmaintaining the kitchen s budget & good value for money forthe business.
Adhere to qualityhygiene and cleanliness standards.
Staying up to date with culinary trends and kitchenprocesses.
Comply with all relevantHealth & Safety HACCP & Food Safety Standardsincluding a working knowledge of allergens & foodintolerances.
TheCandidate:
The ability toconstantly perform well in a highpressure and fastpacedenvironment
Excellent organisationalskills to assist with the smooth running of akitchen
Ambition to progress in thehospitality Industry & work closely with a progressive& ambitious team.
Goodleadership skills and the ability to work on your own onoccasions.
Creativity and goodculinary skills to assist in developing an excitingmenu
Computer literacy including aworking knowledge of relevant software programs such as apointofsale system and MicrosoftOffice
