We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our PE Department as Head of PE.
This is an exciting opportunity to join St Catherine's College as a middle leader. You will be responsible for managing our team of PE Teachers and ensuring excellent outcomes for all students in your department, fostering a love of physical activity and promoting a health lifestyle.
You should have qualified teacher status recognised by the DfES; be a graduate and have evidence of further / continued professional development.

The Physical Education Department at our school is a dynamic team of six dedicated professionals who are passionate about fostering a love for sports and physical activity among all students. Energetic and hard working, we are committed to achieving the best outcomes for every student.
The Department offers a diverse curriculum that includes netball, football, basketball, table tennis, trampolining, gymnastics, athletics, and striking and fielding sports.
Beyond the classroom, the Department also runs an extensive extracurricular programme; providing ample opportunities for students to engage in various sports and develop their skills and fitness levels. This comprehensive approach ensures that all students have the chance to participate, excel, and enjoy the benefits of a well-rounded physical education.
