Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated experienced Operational Manager to support the Directorate Manager - Specialist Services within an exciting portfolio.
The Directorate houses an array of teams such as Urgent Community Response, Virtual Ward, Continence, Heart Failure, COPD and Diabetes Specialist Services in addition to our Advanced Clinical Practitioner Service.
The post will support the Directorate Manager and offer the successful individual an opportunity to utilise leadership skills within identified projects. It will offer the individual growth and development within a health care setting.

Main duties of the job
1. Supporting theDirectorate Manager in the operational delivery and performance management of Specialist Directorate national and local performance targets and objectives. Support the development and improvement of its clinical and administrative services. This will include specific responsibility and accountability for certain aspects of performance
2. Supporting service improvement through analysis of data and undertaking capacity and demand analysis of services to support delivery of targets for the Directorate and overall Division
3. Manage the Assistant Directorate Support Manager within Urgent Community response Service and support teams within the Specialist Directorate.
4. Management of the Assistant Directorate Support manager and any other delegated management, ensuring service objectives are met by the specialty teams.
5. Planning to ensure that all elements of service provision are considered and organised to enable capacity to be maximised. This requires a structured approach to ensure that short-falls are identified in advance to enable mitigating action in a timely and organised manner, and also flexibility to respond to changes in circumstances
