RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an established medium sized distribution firm in Knowsley who are looking for an Accounts Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

The Accounts Manager role reports into the Directors and is supported by two finance assistants.
Duties:
* Posting sales invoices and credit notes
* Analysing and posting purchase invoices
* Allocating purchase ledger cash
* Bank reconciliation
* Journal entries
* Petty cash and credit card entries
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Producing customer statements for credit control
* Nominal ledger review
* Preparation of VAT Returns under different types of schemes
* Liaising directly with clients to obtain and gather information as necessary
* Liaising with third parties (such as HMRC, Customers, Suppliers) as necessary
