Infrastructure Support Engineer - Reading
In this role, the individual will offer on-site assistance for various internal service teams (such as service managers, engineers, incident managers) in responding to issues impacting local systems, networks, hardware, and connectivity. The role involves sharing updates related to site-specific matters and providing feedback during major incident calls. Additionally, they will support local business operations, projects, and the deployment of global technology initiatives, including physical infrastructure setups.
Site Operations Support Tech:
* The primary goal of the Site Infrastructure Support service is to enhance the performance and availability of local IT infrastructure by working closely with remote teams that monitor and manage these services.
* Oversee the availability of local IT systems, including but not limited to WAN, LAN, wireless connectivity, and enterprise voice services, during business and non-business hours in accordance with the client’s support model.
* Manage internet and network connections (installation, monitoring, auditing) as outlined by the client’s network team.
* Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting for both wired and wireless networks, as directed by the network support team.
* Maintain enterprise voice gateway devices.

Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 4+ years of experience in network infrastructure support and project management
* A driver's license is advantageous, though travel is rare and primarily within the client’s site.
