The Opportunities
Residential/Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor
Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse caseload of residential and commercial property matters from start to finish, including:
* Freehold and leasehold sales/purchases
* Transfers of equity and remortgages
* Stamp duty procedures and title checking
* Preparation of search reports and handling enquiries
* Leasehold transactions, including grants of leases
* Advising on landlord and tenant relationships, lease renewals, and deeds of surrender
* Assisting with refinancing, business acquisitions/sales, and utilities agreements
* Engaging in active business development initiatives
* Benefit from dedicated secretarial support, allowing you to focus on delivering expert legal advice.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years PQE in residential and commercial conveyancing
* Proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload
* Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize in a high-volume environment
* Excellent client care and communication skills coupled with a professional, proactive approach
Private Client Solicitor
Responsibilities:
* Handle a broad range of private client matters, including:
* Estate and care fees planning
* Drafting and advising on wills and will writing
* Establishing and managing Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Navigating Court of Protection matters
* Administering trusts and trust administration
* Managing probate and estate administration
* Providing advice on inheritance tax planning, investments, and deputyship
* Support candidates undertaking STEP qualifications with structured career development and continuous learning opportunities
Requirements:
* A strong track record in private client work, particularly in wills, trusts, estates, and tax matters
* Ability to efficiently manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision
* Excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks
* Superior client care and communication abilities, underpinned by technical competence and a professional demeanour
Competitive Remuneration:
* Residential/Commercial Conveyancing: £45,000 - £80,000 DOE
