The successful candidate will have experience in general estates, facilities management and school IT networks, a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and an understanding of building control systems. Previous experience working in a school environment would be beneficial but not essential. You should have a proven track record of providing excellent facilities management services, experience of working with a multi discipline team of professionals, and be able to demonstrate having successfully implemented change and innovation. About the role: To proactively lead in the implementation and delivery of our Estates and Sustainability Strategy. Develop and improve the Trust estates and support site staff teams, ensuring effective and efficient management of the school sites and grounds. Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety (legislation and implementation) are reflected in the highest of standards, ensuring all schools in the Trust are safe and legally compliant. Ensure a high level of performance from all school contracts. Support Project management, and/or work closely with external project managers, on school refurbishment, building improvement works and ICT. Travel independently to all the schools currently within our Trust, as well as any new schools who may join us in the future. You must also be able to commute (mileage costs will be reinbursed). Oversee the management of all aspects of our IT systems (Outsourced managed provider) and networks. You will lead our technical team and provide support to our schools where required.
