Would you be keen to join a modern and innovative structural design studio in South London and work on bespoke architecturally led projects?
This boutique design consultancy is based in South London, close to tube and overground rail. The Directors are all MIStructE qualified and are working with top architects. They can give excellent support for Chartership and the work lends itself well to achieving this status, if not already achieved.
This role would suit a candidate with a good degree and several years experience in a buildings design role and ideally recently Chartered. You should have a passion for architecture and be keen to be part of a small but growing team, where everyone really counts.
Responsibilities:
1. Work on niche high-end schemes, primarily in the private residential sector, as well as schools, shops, sports halls, universities, offices, and other various works.
2. Manage projects ranging from small up to £20m in value, usually architecturally led.
3. Utilize Tekla and Tedds for design and analysis.
4. Experience with BlueBeam is useful.
The studio team is currently less than 10 staff but is growing and has longer term aims to be a medium sized practice. They have super modern office space in a great location in South London right by the river, close to pubs, shops and a lovely park. They offer excellent career development and CPD, as well as flexible working hours and work from home Fridays. When in the office, lunches are often provided and a fruit basket is delivered regularly. The firm have a very active social life and family feel. All staff here are commercially aware and work on a trust basis - no need for timesheets!
