An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time Home Care Procurement Officer in Mid Argyll. This role is responsible for the commissioning and quality assurance of care at home services in the community.
We are looking for an individual who is dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate about supporting people to maintain their independence at home and ensure support services provide positive, person centred and high quality care. You will require to have a knowledge of the SSSC framework for persons receiving supports, and the standards and codes of practice for registered care providers.
At times, the role does include responding to crisis situations so it is essential that you have resilience, initiative, and with support of the team, can deal with difficult and pressurised circumstances. This is a rewarding but challenging role, therefore good problem solving and communication skills are critical.
We are seeking applicants that will be part of a team who are passionate about ensuring individuals in the community have positive experiences with care services that promote their independence and well-being.
