Service Manager Opportunity
Bridge2Future is on the lookout for a talented, self-driven and passionate individual to join our expanding team as a Service Manager, overseeing the day-to-day management of a cluster of children's residential care homes within the Midlands region while taking the RM registration for one of the homes in the cluster. The role will require regular travel between sites and to the company's Head Office in Burton on Trent, so a full UK driving license is essential.

The successful candidate for this role should possess the following:
1. Experience in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties/behaviour that challenges OR working with young people who are Neuro-diverse, live with learning disabilities.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience of working within a Children's Residential Home within the last 5 years. (Ideally 7+ years of experience in last 10 years).
3. At least 2 years' experience within a Supervisory or Leadership role within a Children's Home setting (Ideally, 5+ years in the last 7 years).
4. A minimum Level 3 Residential Child Care Diploma, ideally level 5 Diploma or with a willingness to work towards obtaining a Level 5 Diploma if not already in place.
5. A Full UK Driving License.
6. Right to Work in the UK.
The role of the Service Manager will include:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day management of a cluster of Residential Homes within the organisation.
2. Line Managing the manager/s of the care homes within the given cluster of homes.
3. Providing hands-on support to Home Managers and the RI as required.
4. Completing quality audits and creating action plans.
5. Holding Ofsted registration as RM for homes within your assignment if required in absence of the RM until the new RM is developed into that role.
6. Developing and mentoring new leadership including less experienced RMs or Team leaders into RM roles.
7. Acting as a Designated Safeguarding lead and submitting reports as appropriate to the relevant authorities.
